outdoor locations
Outdoor locations have the bonus of often being free and available without needing to be booked in advance. If you’d like an outdoor location, it’s usually necessary that we book the shoot for either close to sunrise or close to sunset, to get the best light.
Royal Park, Parkville If you want a central outdoor location, this one is my favourite!
Laneways around North Carlton If you want a cool looking, urban location with cobblestones + interesting walls, this location is a good bet
Mount Dandenong Arboretum Gorgeous spot about an hour east of Melbourne
Yarra Bend Park There’s a huge number of spots in this legendary Melbourne Park
Darebin Parklands My new favourite urban park!
indoor locations
A good location is absolutely essential to the final result of a shoot. We need a space where we can spread out, I can set up lighting equipment, that has the right “feel”. We can always shoot at my beautiful studio in The Nicholas Building, it has great light and is filled with vintage furniture and props that can be styled in lots of different ways.
